Scholarships
All active members of the Canadian Federation of University Women Owen Sound and Area chapter are also members of the Canadian Federation of University Women Owen Sound Scholarship Fund, a registered charitable organization (#89722 3533 RR 001) with the ability to issue tax receipts.
The Scholarship Fund trustees oversee and direct the charitable donations, adhering to the purposes of the Fund.
Since 1993, a total of $70,150 in scholarships has been awarded to:

STEM Programming
Since 2020, our chapter has supported this organization that holds classroom, community and family workshops to “open the wonders of science, engineering and technology to everyone, foster environmental stewardship, and encourage children across Canada to discover the relevancy of science in their everyday world.”
We are now proud Exploration Level donors.
In 2020/21 and 2021/22 we funded STEM classes at Alexandra Community School. This year, 2022/23, Notre Dame Catholic School received 5 STEM classes thanks to our donation.
